About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and govern the program management team to ensure consistent delivery of customer commitments
- Drive program execution results through optimized processes and empowered leadership teams
- Provide guidance, resources, and training to elevate organizational program management capabilities
- Ensure seamless coordination across Finance, Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and opportunities via a comprehensive risk register
- Partner with senior leadership to shape and advance the strategic roadmap for the ELCAN business
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and program execution quality
- Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant aerospace experience, or an advanced degree (MBA or other) with at least 10 years of relevant experience
- Proven success leading cross-functional Program Management Teams
- Experience managing large-scale programs with annual volumes of $150M+
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership and financial management experience
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all leadership levels and customer organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification with customer-facing program management experience
- Experience across all program lifecycles, including design, development, production, and sustainment
- Experience managing Earned Value (EV) programs and complex schedules
- Experience managing multiple product lines or production areas
