Associate Director, Planning

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management and communication of media plans from ideation to delivery
• Lead communication and relationships with internal agency specialty teams and creative partners
• Ensure strategy and audience insights are integrated into tactical media plans
• Ensure accuracy of all client deliverables
• Implement measurement and learning agendas within media plans
• Partner with investment teams to identify optimal channels and partners
• Drive relationship with internal teams including strategy, buying, analytics, and SBUs
• Develop media plans by making strategic ideas actionable with cross-functional partners

Requirements

• Strong institutional knowledge of media planning principles
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
• Comfort exploring new technologies, platforms, and approaches
• Ability to manage communication both upwards and downwards
• Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of integrated planning experience
• 2-3 years of experience in a people manager role
• Proven ability to delegate, train, and support direct reports
• Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency with agency tools such as MediaTools, Growth Accelerator, or NMI
