Associate Director, Performance

Responsibilities

• Take a strategic lead in the overall performance, profitability, and long-term business growth of the Paid Search discipline
• Accelerate the transition from traditional Paid Search management to AI-driven accounts
• Actively engage in new business pitches and collaborate with the new business department to expand the client base
• Drive adoption of appropriate technology, tooling, and data-led approaches across all accounts
• Oversee top Paid Search clients to drive innovation and excellence in delivery
• Spend at least 60% of time on projects or sales initiatives
• Enable cross-craft collaboration with Content, Data, AI, Organic Search, and Social teams
• Ensure agile development of the Paid Search proposition to align with target clients

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Paid Search
• Proven track record in business development, pitching, and client relationship management
• Deep curiosity and understanding of how to apply AI and machine learning tools
• Broad digital marketing knowledge including Social, Display, Content Marketing, and Data
• Highly autonomous with the ability to own complex projects and make significant decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasion skills
• Ability to work from London or Manchester offices
• Fluency in English
