About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day onboarding and preboarding operations for employees and contingent workers across multiple regions.
  • Manage identity verification, access gating controls, employment eligibility, and compliance training tracking.
  • Provide operational leadership, mentorship, and escalation management for onboarding analysts and support resources.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor onboarding workflows, case volumes, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure timely and compliant execution.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence, workforce governance, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Talent Acquisition, Compliance, IT, Security, and Legal.
  • Support audit remediation and the implementation of scalable onboarding controls.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in HR Operations, onboarding, pre-boarding, or related operational functions.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume onboarding operations for both employees and contingent workers.
  • Experience working within a highly regulated or compliance-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing operational processes, SOPs, and governance standards.
  • Strong knowledge of employment eligibility requirements and workforce governance practices.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex, large-scale coordination efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting audit remediation, operational risk management, or compliance initiatives.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and onboarding technologies, specifically Oracle and Fieldglass.
