About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to meet undergraduate enrollment objectives.
  • Manage assigned recruitment territories, including travel, relationship building, and yield initiatives.
  • Represent the university at recruitment events, college fairs, and open houses.
  • Analyze enrollment trends and market data to inform recruitment strategies and territory planning.
  • Participate in holistic application review and admission decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate admission review and communication processes for prospective student-athletes.
  • Advise coaches on admission requirements, timelines, and institutional policies.
  • Monitor athletic recruitment pipelines and maintain accurate records to support enrollment forecasting.
  • Supervise a team of admission counselors and coordinators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in college admission, enrollment management, or higher education.
  • Experience working with NCAA Division I athletics recruitment and enrollment processes.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising professional and/or student staff.
  • Experience managing large-scale recruitment or campus events.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and reliable transportation for extensive travel.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, business administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Slate.
  • Bilingual skills.
