Associate Director of Sales (Weddings & MICE)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve wedding and MICE revenue targets
• Drive business growth through weddings, corporate events, conferences, and social celebrations
• Identify new revenue opportunities and expand market presence
• Establish annual sales goals, forecasts, and action plans
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and event planners
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve departmental targets
• Oversee event planning and execution to ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborate with operations, catering, and housekeeping teams
• Develop targeted marketing campaigns and promotional strategies
• Participate in industry trade shows and networking events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• 8–12 years of experience in hotel sales
• Significant exposure to weddings and MICE segments
• Proven experience managing large-scale weddings and corporate events
• Strong network with wedding planners and corporate clients
• Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills
