Associate Director of Regional Bioengineering Department

Responsibilities

• Support academic planning and semester group programming in coordination with the academic coordinator.
• Coordinate with program directors on student attraction, promotion, and engagement activities.
• Manage faculty development, focusing on adjunct, assistant, and plant professors.
• Oversee departmental enrollment processes, including group scheduling, instructor changes, and student relocations.
• Ensure high-quality formative experiences for students through the Tec 21 Model.
• Support accreditation processes such as ABET and CACEI.
• Implement continuous improvement processes in conjunction with the Department Director.
• Participate in strategic departmental projects and collaborate with other regional academic units.

Requirements

• PhD in Biotechnology or a related field.
• English proficiency level B2 or higher.
• Proven experience leading groups of professors.
• Experience in project management involving multidisciplinary workgroups.
• Demonstrable experience in academic management (students, groups, faculty, and content).
• Experience in administrative management, including budgets, planning, and resource allocation.
