Associate Director of Recruitment

Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment, engagement, and enrollment of qualified transfer and international students.
• Develop and implement key strategies for attracting and converting prospective students to meet admissions goals.
• Maintain established relationships with international partners and grow the transfer population through articulation agreements.
• Represent the University at on- and off-campus programs, school visitations, and college fairs.
• Support office operations, including the processing and reading of admissions applications.
• Provide staff training and development, with potential supervisory responsibilities for regional recruitment staff.
• Perform tele-counseling, interviewing, and application evaluation.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Management leadership and other campus departments to improve office efficiency.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Strong computer skills and experience with database management.
• Demonstrated competency in data collection and analysis related to market trends and enrollment statistics.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
• Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Willingness to engage in extensive travel by air and automobile.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 2-3 years of higher education experience in an admissions, marketing, or related student-services field.
• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in college admissions.
• Experience with SCT Banner and/or Technolutions Slate.
• Proven management and leadership skills.
