Associate Director of Operations

Responsibilities

• Identify problems in fulfillment operations and drive continuous improvement strategies for the distribution center
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations and SVP to develop an operations improvement road map
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, GMP, SQF, and food safety compliance while meeting operational goals
• Drive Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery while expanding warehouse capabilities
• Lead and supervise a team of managers, supervisors, and hourly associates
• Develop and deliver operational procedures for all fulfillment and supporting processes
• Drive strategic planning and forecasting to ensure operational alignment
• Mentor, train, and develop teammates for career progression
• Create a positive team dynamic focused on customer experience and feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred
• 8+ years of experience managing operations or production within Food/Beverage/Perishables
• Comprehensive background in Fulfillment, Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing
• Inventory control management with experience building or improving WMS or inventory tracking systems
• Experience managing 150-200+ employees
• Deep knowledge of Lean manufacturing
• Familiarity with FSMA, HACCP, and SQF
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or night shifts
• Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred
