About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital partners and clinical affiliates as the primary institutional liaison.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of clinical affiliation agreements, including contract review and annual compliance audits in coordination with legal counsel.
  • Ensure all clinical partnerships comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including NYSED documentation.
  • Manage clinical operations, including student and preceptor credentialing, onboarding, and rotation documentation.
  • Supervise program coordinators and hospital liaisons, providing leadership and professional development.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and maintain partnership databases to ensure data integrity.
  • Support financial reporting related to clinical sites, including preceptor payment processes and accruals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, education, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical education operations, hospital partnerships, or compliance.
  • Proven experience managing regulatory documentation or clinical affiliation agreements.
  • Experience supervising staff or leading operational programs.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Direct experience working with clinical affiliation agreements.
  • Background in medical education or academic health systems.
