About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital partners and clinical affiliates as the primary institutional liaison.
- Oversee the lifecycle of clinical affiliation agreements, including contract review and annual compliance audits in coordination with legal counsel.
- Ensure all clinical partnerships comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including NYSED documentation.
- Manage clinical operations, including student and preceptor credentialing, onboarding, and rotation documentation.
- Supervise program coordinators and hospital liaisons, providing leadership and professional development.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and maintain partnership databases to ensure data integrity.
- Support financial reporting related to clinical sites, including preceptor payment processes and accruals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, education, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in clinical education operations, hospital partnerships, or compliance.
- Proven experience managing regulatory documentation or clinical affiliation agreements.
- Experience supervising staff or leading operational programs.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Direct experience working with clinical affiliation agreements.
- Background in medical education or academic health systems.
