About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and assess campus-wide prevention education and events focused on consent, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, and survivor support.
  • Develop and deliver student trainings using trauma-informed and inclusive practices.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and develop peer educators and student staff.
  • Partner closely with the Title IX Office and confidential campus resources to coordinate prevention initiatives.
  • Engage in sensitive conversations regarding sexual and relationship violence and provide appropriate resource referrals.
  • Support the Sexuality, Women, and Gender Center's initiatives and campus engagement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of related experience required (4-6 years preferred).
  • Experience working in higher education, preferably in a small, liberal arts setting.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust and work collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of trauma caused by sexual violence and harassment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Degree in Gender Studies or a related field.
