About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 20+ finance professionals, including managers and analysts.
  • Partner with the SM-3 IB Program Leader and Shipboard Missiles Finance leader to drive predictable financial outcomes and program execution.
  • Implement rigorous financial controls to manage munitions acceleration contracts and substantial company investments.
  • Drive compliant financial management for a large portfolio of programs.
  • Lead EACs, EVMS, and AOP/LRP execution to ensure achievement of strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (or 10 years with an Advanced Degree).
  • Proven experience in staff management and leading business teams.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for access to financial management systems and security clearance eligibility.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with government contracting, DoD, or the Aerospace industry.
  • Strong background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
  • Experience in program proposal strategy, negotiations, and price modeling.
  • Broad understanding of GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
