Associate Director of Community Standards

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and oversight of the University’s student conduct system to ensure procedural consistency and equitable outcomes.
• Supervise, train, and support conduct officers and advise the University Conduct Board.
• Serve as the primary case manager for Title IX Formal Resolution cases, managing scheduling, logistics, communications, and coordination with attorneys.
• Act as the lead resource for complex case consultations, including organizational misconduct and the University Appeals Process.
• Develop, assess, and revise inter-departmental processes, educational sanctions, and adjudication protocols.
• Serve as a primary liaison between the Community Standards office and key campus partners to support appropriate responses to student behavior.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required.
• 5-7 years of full-time experience in higher education administration or a related field.
• Proven experience in student conduct or residence life with conduct resolution responsibilities.
• Proficiency in maintaining privacy and handling sensitive information.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in student affairs, counseling, or a related human development field.
• Experience using the Maxient conduct database.
• Experience with assessment and web design.
• At least 4 years of experience working with student behavior in a learning environment.
