Associate Director of Clinical Services

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational and business direction of Perioperative Services, including Operating Suites, CSSD, Day of Surgery Admissions, and Short Stay Unit
• Drive clinical excellence, theatre utilisation, growth, and business development
• Lead teams through change, fostering a culture of engagement, resilience, and continuous improvement
• Manage human and material resources to ensure cost-efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of safe patient care
• Ensure clinical service delivery complies with legislated requirements, industry codes of practice, and organisational policies

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience within Perioperative Services across all relevant service areas
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including public speaking ability
• Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in resource management to meet organisational requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative nursing or management
