About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized career coaching to approximately 100 MSCF students, assisting with career goals, job-search strategies, interviewing, and negotiation.
- Deliver industry-informed advising through one-on-one sessions and group workshops on resume preparation and networking.
- Plan and implement annual career events, including alumni mock interviews, career panels, and employer presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers through outreach, site visits, and targeted marketing to expand student opportunities.
- Oversee the Peer Mentorship Program and work closely with student leadership representatives.
- Partner with the Director of Alumni Relations to implement initiatives such as Alumni Mentorship and Quant-in-Residence programs.
- Assess and enhance career services programming in response to evolving industry trends and employment markets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and AI platforms.
- Experience managing databases, CRM systems, and career services technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Experience in financial services, higher education, career services, graduate recruiting, or university relations.
