About the role
Responsibilities
- Secure annual gifts ranging from $100 to $24,999 to support the Greyhound Club and athletic teams
- Develop and execute annual membership drives and engagement strategies via email, mail, and events
- Conduct a minimum of 100 donor visits annually to solicit philanthropic support
- Foster professional relationships with alumni, parents, and emerging major gift prospects
- Provide day-to-day oversight and supervision of Graduate Assistants and student workers
- Coordinate donor stewardship, including recognition events and dedications
- Utilize Raiser’s Edge and GiveCampus to maintain accurate donor data and information
- Ensure compliance with all NCAA Division II and Great Lakes Valley Conference rules and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 0–3 years of fundraising or non-profit experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking and writing
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel independently across the United States
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for donor events and athletic hospitality
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of athletic fundraising, alumni relations, and advancement communications
- Experience using Raiser’s Edge or similar donor databases
