Associate Director of Advancement Services and Operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gift processing, batch preparation, and donor acknowledgments to ensure compliance with IRS and CASE standards.
• Serve as the administrator for the Institutional Advancement CRM, specifically Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and related modules.
• Supervise the Prospect Research and Data Coordinator and manage student workers.
• Provide regular financial and accounting reports, including gift trend analysis and divisional budget reconciliation.
• Support prospect management by conducting donor screening, research, and maintaining accurate moves management records.
• Partner with University functional areas such as Finance, Financial Aid, and Academic Affairs to ensure data integrity.
• Design and produce various reports, including donor fund reports, alumni lists, and mailing lists to support departmental goals.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in fundraising, advancement, or a related nonprofit/higher education environment.
• Direct experience with gift processing and donor database management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables) and Word (mail merge).
• Experience in bookkeeping or accounting functions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, NetCommunity, or ResearchPoint.
• Ability to conduct constituent research using internet and social media resources.
