About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic input to guide creation of clinically relevant educational content
- Develop independent scientific content through analysis and interpretation of clinical data
- Conduct literature searches and perform competitive landscape analyses
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Partner with internal creative and digital teams to create peer-to-peer educational content
- Support submissions for client medical and regulatory approval processes
- Supervise and oversee department staff, including interviewing and performance management
Requirements
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in a medical sciences related field
- Minimum of two years of medical writing experience
- Experience in medical education, medical communications, or HCP marketing
- Expertise in extracting information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy
- Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations and AMA editorial style
- Experience with complex projects involving collaboration with key opinion leaders
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of agency experience
- Experience creating branded or unbranded peer-to-peer educational content
- Positive, problem-solving attitude
