About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate scientific exchange between Lilly and the medical community to address clinical and scientific questions.
  • Maintain high levels of technical expertise within the neuroscience therapeutic area to serve as a trusted resource for medical information.
  • Engage in customer-facing activities, acting as a primary interface between Lilly medical and scientific experts/clinical experts.
  • Implement and evaluate strategic territory plans, utilizing analytics for customer identification and prioritization.
  • Synthesize and communicate actionable clinical insights to internal Lilly medical and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and cultivate internal networks to support strategic business needs.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) in a medically related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience preferred.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% and work up to 4 to 6 weekends per year.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic area.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex scientific content in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills for evaluating clinical information.
  • Experience in professional networking and servicing customer needs for complex information.
  • Familiarity with health systems, academic communities, and medical research processes.
