Associate Director Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, guidance, and support to a regional team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)
• Manage the successful execution of MSL strategic, operational, and tactical plans
• Engage key national and regional oncology healthcare professionals and thought leaders
• Exchange scientific information with external parties in an accurate, fair, and balanced manner
• Report field intelligence, including competitive information and treatment landscape perspectives, to leadership
• Represent Medical Affairs as a cross-functional partner and lead high-visibility projects
• Support investigator-initiated studies and company-sponsored clinical trials
• Serve as a scientific resource and provide session summaries at medical conferences

Requirements

• Master's level oncology PA or NP degree with a minimum of 13 years of related experience, or an active commitment toward a doctorate
• Accredited doctorate degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D., D.Sc., D.N.P., or D.O.) with a minimum of 12 years of related experience
• Ability to travel 50% or more, including occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry
• Prior experience in Oncology MSL management
• 8 years of MSL experience specifically in therapeutic oncology
• Proven experience as a people-manager for highly credentialed professional reports
• Completion of formal leadership training coursework
