About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide leading researchers and practitioners with precise scientific and clinical knowledge regarding products, disease states, and standard of care.
  • Act as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and Scientific/Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs) to address clinical care gaps and improve patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate collaborative research opportunities and partner with clinical development to support study site identification, selection, and recruitment.
  • Implement strategic territory plans through a combination of face-to-face and virtual engagement.
  • Synthesize and communicate actionable clinical insights to internal Lilly Medical and cross-functional teams.
  • Execute all field activities compliantly, adhering to all internal and external governing requirements and laws.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD in a medically related field) with 2-3 years of clinically relevant experience.
  • OR a Master's or Bachelor's level degree in health sciences (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) with 5+ years of relevant clinical, research, or industry experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%, including potential weekend commitments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Therapeutic area experience in Gastrointestinal and/or Thoracic Oncology.
  • Previous experience in a field-based working environment.
  • Familiarity with health systems, academic communities, medical research, and the medical education process.
  • Strong presentation, digital, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage HCPs virtually.
