About the role

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate scientific exchange with Scientific and Clinical Experts (SEs/CEs) to address clinical care gaps and research questions.
  • Provide accurate, unbiased, and up-to-date medical and scientific information regarding products, disease states, and standards of care.
  • Act as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and healthcare professionals to support evidence sharing and improved patient outcomes.
  • Partner with clinical development to support studies, investigator identification, and recruitment to accelerate the pipeline.
  • Implement strategic territory plans through face-to-face and virtual engagement, utilizing territory analytics for effective customer routing.
  • Synthesize and communicate actionable clinical insights to internal Lilly Medical and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2-3 years of clinically relevant experience.
  • OR a Master's or Bachelor's level degree in health sciences (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) with 5+ years of relevant clinical, research, or industry experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%, including potential weekend commitments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cardiometabolic health (e.g., cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity).
  • Experience working in a field-based environment.
  • Familiarity with health systems, academic communities, and the medical research/education process.
  • Strong presentation, digital engagement, and interpersonal skills.
