Associate Director, Medical Information

Responsibilities

• Manage direct reports including mentoring, coaching, and training Medical Information Specialists and Managers
• Provide oversight of assigned clients, ensuring deliverables meet KPIs and service level agreements
• Direct daily operations of the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC), including workload monitoring and staffing
• Oversee Statement of Works (SOWs), invoicing, and client-related Profit & Loss (P&L)
• Triage and respond to unsolicited medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals and patients
• Identify and perform intake of adverse events and product complaints in compliance with regulations
• Act as a liaison with client stakeholders to manage all aspects of services provided

Requirements

• Master of Science (MSc) degree in Life Sciences, healthcare, or equivalent
• 5+ years of Medical Information and/or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Knowledge of Medical Information Industry Best Practices
• Familiarity with EMA and local European regulations and healthcare systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage and motivate individuals to ensure performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Healthcare Degree (PharmD or equivalent), MBA, or Regulatory Science degree
• Pharmacist license
• More than five years of experience in a Medical Information management role
• Proficiency in telephony, Medical Information databases, and Microsoft Office
• Fluency in English plus one or more other European languages (B2, C1, or C2 level)
