Associate Director, Medical

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic scientific input to guide the creation of clinically relevant educational content.
• Develop independent scientific content by analyzing and interpreting clinical data across various project types.
• Conduct literature searches and perform competitive analyses to monitor the clinical landscape.
• Partner with internal creative and digital teams to develop peer-to-peer educational content, including slide decks, KOL videos, and digital media.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contributing to strategic discussions and meetings.
• Support medical and regulatory approval processes by incorporating client and regulatory feedback into deliverables.
• Educate internal team members on disease states, clinical trials, and competitive treatments.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in a medical sciences-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical writing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of agency experience in medical education, medical communications, or HCP marketing.
• Proven expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy.
• Strong understanding of FDA marketing regulations and AMA editorial style.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with internal teams and external Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
