About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented classes while managing the classroom effectively
- Participate in the hiring and training of part-time staff and teachers
- Assist with campus administrative, logistical, and customer service operations
- Support enrollment and sales efforts by meeting with prospective families to assess student fit
- Counsel current students and families to provide ongoing academic support
- Design and implement campus community-building activities to support student retention
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred in education or a related field)
- Strong content knowledge in mathematics
- Minimum 1-year teaching experience
- Strong organizational and priority management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree related to the subject area
- Experience working with advanced K-12 students
