About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance of automation, manufacturing equipment, electrical, refrigeration, and PIT equipment
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of managers and technicians
- Manage outside vendors and facilitate planned and unplanned repairs
- Provide project management for strategic and building-level projects
- Ensure compliance with maintenance regulations and OSHA standards
- Drive cross-departmental engagement for new projects and retrofits
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience managing maintenance, operations, or reliability in Food/Beverage/Perishables/Distribution
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematics
- Knowledge of GMP, LEAN, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Exposure to refrigeration systems
- Ability to work in cold environments (up to 40F)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or nights and travel approximately 50%
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
