Associate Director, M&A Advisory

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A deal generation, execution, and project management for the Mid-Markets team in Southeast Asia.
• Independently prepare complex financial models, analyses, proposals, and marketing documents for corporate finance transactions.
• Advise C-suite executives and boards on evaluating strategic alternatives and transaction opportunities.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members regarding information memoranda and transaction documentation.
• Develop and maintain a professional business network to enhance long-term origination capabilities.
• Ensure high-quality professional documentation while maintaining strict client confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, or Banking.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant corporate finance experience within an investment bank, professional services firm, or boutique consulting firm.
• Advanced financial modelling skills and a deep understanding of financial statements.
• Proven track record in both buy-side and sell-side transactions, as well as capital raising.
• Expertise in valuation methodologies, including DCF, precedent transactions, and traded comparable companies.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to deliver creative solutions to complex problems.
