Associate Director, Logistics

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end logistics activities for clinical and commercial shipments of radioactive materials
• Develop and maintain robust importer of record (IOR) processes for international movement and customs clearance
• Select, qualify, and manage third-party logistics (3PL) suppliers
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations including IATA, ICAO, DOT, and EURATOM
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation, permits, and compliance records
• Lead investigation and resolution of logistics incidents related to radioactive materials

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences logistics
• Direct experience handling radioactive or hazardous materials
• Expertise in IOR processes and global import/export regulations for class 7 products
• Experience managing and optimizing 3PL partners
• Strong knowledge of international transportation regulatory frameworks (IATA, ICAO, DOT, EURATOM)
• Understanding of HS/HTS classification, customs valuation, and indirect tax basics

Preferred Qualifications

• Dangerous goods certification (e.g., IATA/ICAO certified)
• Experience supporting radiopharmaceutical clinical trial supply chains
