Associate Director - Language Arts

Responsibilities

• Teach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented language arts classes.
• Assist with campus administrative, logistical, and customer service operations.
• Partner with the Campus Director on the hiring and training of part-time staff and teachers.
• Support enrollment efforts by meeting with prospective families to assess student fit.
• Counsel current students and families to provide academic and program support.
• Design and implement campus community-building activities to support student retention.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, strongly preferred in education or a related field.
• Minimum 1-year teaching experience.
• Strong content knowledge in language arts.
• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings and weekends during the academic year.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree related to the subject area.
• Experience working with advanced K-12 students.
