Associate Director, Laboratory Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and strategic leadership to assigned laboratory products
• Oversee development, planning, and maintenance of manufacturing methods and processes
• Manage budget preparation, revenue monitoring, and capital expenditures
• Ensure strict compliance with CLIA/CAP guidelines and good manufacturing practices
• Lead and develop high-performance teams through coaching and mentoring
• Identify and implement departmental key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Represent the company during audits, technical calls, and client visits
• Direct production laboratory personnel in method validation and transfer

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in a STEM-related field (Biological Sciences preferred)
• At least 8 years of professional experience
• At least 5 years of leadership experience overseeing manufacturing or a CRO production team
• Experience in Molecular Biology
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a CLIA/CAP CRO production team
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments
