Associate Director & K-12 Principal

Responsibilities

• Serve as the school's Chief Academic Officer, leading instruction, curriculum, assessment, and faculty development.
• Oversee academic administration, including the development and evaluation of K-12 academic programs and services.
• Foster an environment of educational innovation through the testing and demonstration of new teaching methods.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate academic staff to ensure a productive work environment.
• Design and implement orientation and mentoring programs for new faculty hires.
• Oversee student services and programming, including discipline, guidance, counseling, and extra-curricular activities.
• Monitor student data to drive instructional decisions and maximize student achievement and equity.
• Collaborate with LSU departments to ensure the school serves as a laboratory space for research.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, students, staff, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Education or a related field.
• Five years of classroom teaching experience.
• Educational Leadership (EDL) certification.
• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate.
