Associate Director, IT Products & Business Relations

About the Company

The Department of IT Strategy, Policy & Insights partners with Infrastructure, Operations & Cybersecurity leadership to strengthen how IT delivers for the Library. The team sets direction for IT products, establishes governance, and measures performance to ensure the work is aligned, effective, and delivering real value.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Product Management team, setting clear expectations and supporting professional growth
• Define and maintain a product strategy aligned to organizational goals and IT operating models
• Own multi-year roadmapping efforts across the IT product portfolio to facilitate cross-functional alignment
• Drive partnerships across the organization to shape product direction, selection, and priorities
• Partner with Infrastructure, Operations & Cybersecurity to ensure alignment between product and engineering
• Maintain requirements and estimation processes to support accurate scoping and investment decisions
• Establish feedback mechanisms such as demos, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews
• Define and track KPIs to inform decisions and report value to leadership
• Monitor technology trends and assess relevance to product management strategy
• Represent product management and business relations in cross-departmental planning and governance

Requirements

• Experience leading Product Management practices
• Proven ability to drive multi-year roadmapping and prioritization
• Experience building business cases and connecting technology to business outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lead and develop professional teams
