Associate Director, Investor Relations

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute BioNTech's communication strategy for the investment community to elevate engagement and optimize company valuation
• Support strategic initiatives to enhance communication with analysts and investors
• Track market activity, financial trends, competitor landscapes, and shareholder concerns to fine-tune engagement approaches
• Develop consensus estimates, shareholder assessments, and analytics to shape meaningful engagements
• Articulate the value of oncology assets and technology platforms through compelling equity narratives
• Inform a high-impact IR event calendar, including roadshows, investor conferences, and quarterly updates
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, medical, finance, legal, and commercial teams
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards in all communications

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience in investor relations, corporate communications, equity research, or financial analytics within the biopharmaceutical space
• Strong quantitative expertise, including financial modeling, reporting, or valuation techniques
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex topics clearly
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, accurate content independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced academic credentials such as an MBA or Master's degree
• Direct experience in biopharmaceutical oncology
