Associate Director – International Accounting & Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead international financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions, owning the numbers and the strategic narrative.
• Partner directly with Booking Holdings and affiliated global brands on cross-entity financial matters.
• Drive high-impact finance projects, including new payment methods, product launches, and market entries.
• Design data flows, workflows, and control frameworks to support business expansion.
• Own the internal control environment (SOX, Anti-Corruption, Corporate Policy) across all jurisdictions.
• Oversee reconciliations for significant balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of exceptions.
• Navigate corporate income tax, withholding tax, and indirect tax obligations globally.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including significant management-level experience.
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end financial reporting and process improvement.
• Deep fluency in local GAAP and/or US GAAP.
• Extensive expertise in internal controls and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working in a data-rich environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex financial realities to senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA qualification and a background in audit.
• SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience working in high-growth tech companies or complex multinational structures.
