Associate Director, Information Design

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned employees within the competency, including performance reviews and development planning
• Support employee engagement, retention, and career growth
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new talent
• Partner with the Competency Manager to improve standards, tools, and methodologies
• Monitor industry trends and emerging client needs
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to information designers
• Collaborate with Project Team Leadership on staffing and project success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Information Design, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in graphic design or information design
• Demonstrated people management experience including coaching and conflict resolution
• Expertise in information design, visual storytelling, and human-centered design
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual skills and design execution
