About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage global helium sources, including forecasting, supply and price negotiations, and optimization of sourcing balance and production.
- Work closely with current helium sources on growth initiatives and optimization projects.
- Develop a deep commercial and technical understanding of oil & gas exploration, production, and processing.
- Establish a strong network and reputation with oil and gas firms developing hydrocarbons and/or helium resources in the US.
- Collaborate with helium operations and logistics to ensure effective integration of sources into the supply chain.
- Manage and negotiate third-party tolling agreements aligned with the broader helium supply strategy.
- Support the Global Helium Sourcing Director in managing the entire helium supply portfolio and developing strategies.
- Negotiate new and existing helium sourcing contracts and development agreements.
- Optimize helium supply to satisfy requirements while minimizing cost and take-or-pay risk.
- Support logistics and asset management to ensure alignment of source production with distribution assets.
- Provide guidance to the Global Helium leadership team through the generation and analysis of supply reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a combination of product management, business development, contract management, and/or Oil & Gas prospect development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, including occasional international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree.
- Experience with the negotiation of oil and gas development agreements.
