Associate Director, Government Pricing

Responsibilities

• Lead government pricing calculations, submissions, and compliance, including AMP, ASP, Best Price, PHS, and FSS/VA
• Provide strategic guidance on the implications of commercial contracting decisions on government pricing metrics
• Manage third-party vendors supporting Medicaid, TRICARE, and Medicare Part D rebate processing
• Partner with internal audit teams to complete SOX control and other audit-related activities
• Collaborate with Customer Operations and Order-to-Cash teams to maintain accurate data
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess potential business impacts
• Support financial planning by advising on gross-to-net assumptions and pricing impacts
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in pricing, finance, contracting, or a related analytical function in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Minimum 5 years of direct, hands-on government pricing experience
• Deep expertise in U.S. government pricing methodologies (AMP, ASP, Best Price, PHS, and FSS/VA)
• Strong understanding of current U.S. regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
• Experience managing third-party vendors and rebate processing systems
• Proven ability to present complex analyses to senior and executive-level audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with state Medicaid operations
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and governance forums
