About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic and operational delivery of global publication plans, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress presentations
- Oversee the creation of high-quality scientific content and ensure alignment with scientific communication strategies and lifecycle plans
- Serve as the primary Client and Project Manager, managing timelines, budgets, and resources for multiple concurrent projects
- Ensure all scientific communications comply with GPP, ICMJE, and other global publication ethics standards
- Manage and mentor medical/scientific writers and publication managers to build high-performing teams
- Contribute to Global Medical Affairs strategies and drive innovation through the integration of digital tools and platforms
- Cultivate trusted partnerships with client stakeholders to support strategic account growth
Requirements
- Medical or Scientific degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in medical or scientific communications
- Proven experience in publications planning, development, and execution
- Deep knowledge of GPP and ICMJE guidelines
- Proficiency in Veeva Systems and various publication/reference management software
- Experience conducting literature searches using PubMed, Ovid, or Embase
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) certification
- Experience developing medical content for Field Medical, Medical Information, or Medical Advisory Boards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-client projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment
- Strong passion for technology, innovation (including AI), and process improvement
