Associate Director - FP&A

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and robust revenue/cost forecasting models.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights on departmental performance and gross margins.
• Act as a key finance business partner to the Divisional President, Operations, Commercial, and Legal teams.
• Support project-level financial analysis, pricing, contract reviews, and commercial proposals.
• Oversee elements of the month-end close process and ensure revenue/cost recognition aligns with Group policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and scalable finance tools.
• Lead, coach, and develop junior team members to foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification with 5-10 years PQE.
• Proven experience in FP&A, financial modelling, and business partnering.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience in managing a team and leading direct reports.
• Knowledge of IFRS or GAAP statutory accounts.
• Commercial mindset with exposure to pricing, contracts, or revenue analysis.
• Experience in a global or multi-entity environment.
• Prior experience in Clinical Services, CRO, Pharma, or Biotech is highly advantageous.
