Associate Director, Financial Systems

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and enhancement of management and administrative financial systems, policies, and procedures
• Integrate backlog and operational data into system-based solutions to improve visibility, controls, and reporting
• Analyze revenue and backlog performance and support the migration of data into structured financial systems
• Build and own detailed financial analysis tools to support variance analysis and management decision-making
• Deliver accurate, insightful financial analysis on actual results, trends, and forecasts
• Provide ad hoc financial modeling and reporting to support business and operational needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Experience with monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting within a publicly traded company
• Strong experience with finance and IT systems, including financial planning and data management platforms
• Proficiency with Hyperion financial planning and reporting systems
• Expertise in MS Office with advanced Excel modeling skills
• Strong numeracy, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work onsite in Durham, NC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PeopleSoft
• Work experience within the CRO, pharmaceutical, or healthcare information industries
