About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of liquidity strategy development, planning, and execution for both business as usual and contingency planning.
  • Support the Director in meeting OSFI contingency planning and CDIC Resolution Planning requirements, including updating Recovery and Resolution Plans.
  • Lead the update of Group Treasury requirements for Financial Market Intermediaries (FMI) Contingency Plans.
  • Support the update and calibration of the daily Early Warning and Liquidity Risk Indicators dashboard.
  • Partner with Business Lines to develop deposit strategies and support strategic business initiatives.
  • Contribute as a Business Lead to the development and implementation of project plans for enhancing Liquidity Management and Reporting capabilities.
  • Drive efficiency in Financial Market Infrastructure management, intraday cash, and collateral management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, mathematics, or accounting.
  • 5-7 years of progressively senior banking experience with a focus on treasury, capital markets, or risk management.
  • Strong background in Recovery and Resolution planning within a Canadian DSIB environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSFI and Basel liquidity regulatory requirements.
  • Well-developed project management and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience communicating with C-Suite stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post graduate qualification with a finance or business specialization.
  • CPA or CFA designation.
