About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead or manage the production of accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects and programmes
- Develop and promote estimating good practice within the company
- Work with Directors to construct bids for new work
- Provide direction to staff and act as a role model for less experienced team members
- Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages
- Develop new business opportunities and identify cross-selling opportunities
- Manage staff and oversee knowledge management
Requirements
- Proven Estimating Management experience
- High standard qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying
- Experience with estimating software packages
- Experience working on Major Programmes and Projects
- Experience in the Infrastructure sector (Rail, air, power, highways)
- Experience in leading and managing teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Desirable membership of RICS, CIOB, or A. Cost E.
