About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor global and U.S. EHS&S regulatory requirements, including laws, permits, and external standards.
- Interpret regulatory language and translate requirements into actionable expectations for the business.
- Oversee U.S. EHS&S regulatory compliance and coordinate timely, accurate regulatory reporting.
- Assess the operational, technical, and business impact of regulatory changes.
- Lead the development and execution of implementation plans to ensure compliance is embedded into procedures and management systems.
- Support audit readiness, including internal audits, regulatory inspections, and external assessments.
- Manage the investigation and remediation of regulatory non-conformances and CAPAs.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and strengthen regulatory compliance processes through continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, EHS, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive EHS&S experience.
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and implementation of standards-driven change.
- Experience working in site or multi-site operational environments.
- Experience working within a structured EHS&S Management System.
- Proven experience leading or supporting audits, inspections, and CAPA management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Prior experience in Regulatory Affairs, Legal, or Paralegal roles.
