Associate Director, Employer Development & Relations

Responsibilities

• Lead the Employer Development and Relations team to identify, cultivate, and evaluate strategic industry partnerships.
• Supervise the Manager of Events, Manager of Employer Development, and On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator.
• Develop and execute outreach strategies to increase student access to internships, co-ops, and full-time positions.
• Manage the employer core database and analyze engagement data to drive measurable growth in recruitment opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and college liaisons to align employer needs with student career readiness.
• Represent LSU as a premier source of early talent to regional, national, and international employers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
• 5 years of related experience in career services, workforce development, human resources, recruiting, or business development.
• 2 years of supervisory experience managing full-time staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in higher education administration, human resources, business, or a related field.
• 4 or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading multi-level teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Previous experience working with employers within a university career services environment.
