Associate Director - Digital Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the US-based Digital Asset Operations team to build and scale institutional-grade crypto operations.
• Drive automation and AI-agentic workflows to improve efficiency, resilience, and risk controls.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure new features are designed with operational scalability in mind.
• Own counterparty settlement execution across market makers, liquidity providers, exchanges, and custodians.
• Ensure trade, transfer, and inventory reconciliation across internal subsystems and external counterparties.
• Monitor daily inventory needs, including wallet rebalancing and liquidity threshold management.
• Build and lead a high-performing operations team capable of operating in a 24/7 market.
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to design effective controls and trade operations processes.
• Develop a comprehensive control framework including policies, procedures, and daily monitoring.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years in financial services operations with a control-oriented background.
• Hands-on experience building and running a crypto operations function (ideally at a prime broker, custodian, or exchange).
• Proven track record of using AI, automation, and data to drive operational excellence.
• Strong judgment and ability to operate close to risk in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, counterparties, and senior leadership.
