Associate Director, DevOps and S4 Public Cloud Infrastructure Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design, setup, and engineering decisions for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud landscapes and key ecosystem components.
• Translate architectural requirements into scalable infrastructure by defining DevOps configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies for SAP extensions.
• Develop and fine-tune processes to synchronize configurations and custom code developments across multiple environments and Public Cloud instances.
• Manage environment promotion strategies across 3-system (3SL) landscapes, including system merges and test data refreshes.
• Establish and govern infrastructure standards in collaboration with functional, integration, data, and security units.
• Oversee SAP licensing operations, including usage governance and platform optimization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of recent SAP experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (infrastructure/DevOps).
• At least 5 years of experience in ECC or HANA on-prem environments.
• Deep expertise in SAP Public Cloud DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for BTP extensions and source control (Git).
• Practical proficiency with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) and/or JIRA for project tracking and application lifecycle management.
• Proven track record leading infrastructure or platform teams through large-scale SAP transformations.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Extensive experience managing 3-system landscapes (3SL) and complex release strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Central Business Configuration (CBC) and developer extensibility models.
