Associate Director, Data Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Databricks
• Architect and optimize robust data models and infrastructure to ensure high data quality and accessibility
• Partner with Data Science teams to operationalize statistical and machine learning models using DataOps
• Identify and implement internal process improvements and automate manual data processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with a focus on clean, testable code
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms and architecture (ELT, data lakes/lakehouses)
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Automated testing)
• Experience with orchestration frameworks and workflow automation
• Familiarity with data modeling, governance, lineage, and observability
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Expertise in digital advertising reporting, measurement, and attribution tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in designing and deploying AI workflows directly into client environments
