Associate Director - Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial delivery on large-scale, complex construction programs
• Oversee end-to-end cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Lead cost strategy, procurement, and change management across the project lifecycle
• Manage a cost management team and support staff development and performance reviews
• Act as the primary point of contact for commercial status and stakeholder reporting
• Drive procurement strategy, contractor pricing reviews, and change order negotiations
• Provide cost risk analysis, contingency planning, and mitigation strategies
• Support business development, proposals, and pipeline growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in cost management or quantity surveying
• Proven experience delivering services on large-scale, complex, multi-phase construction programs
• Strong consultancy background with client-facing advisory experience
• Expertise in quantity surveying, cost planning, and procurement principles
• Strong understanding of contract administration and cost control methodologies
• Experience leading and mentoring professional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or engineering
• Professional accreditation such as RICS or equivalent
• Experience in fast-paced, high-value capital project environments
