Associate Director - Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Construction

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and financial delivery for large-scale, complex data center construction programs.
• Oversee end-to-end cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Act as a senior leadership advisor and primary point of contact for commercial status and reporting.
• Lead procurement strategy, contractor pricing reviews, and change order negotiations.
• Manage and mentor a cost management team, driving performance and professional development.
• Provide cost risk analysis, contingency planning, and mitigation strategies.
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants at all project stages to ensure alignment.
• Drive best practices in cost management processes, tools, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or commercial management.
• Proven track record of delivering services on large-scale, complex, multi-phase construction programs.
• Strong consultancy background with demonstrated client-facing and advisory experience.
• Expertise in quantity surveying, cost planning, procurement, and commercial management principles.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, change management, and cost control methodologies.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with strong commercial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or engineering.
• Professional accreditation such as RICS or equivalent.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-value capital project environments with multiple concurrent workstreams.
