About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead cost management services for a large-scale, complex high-tech construction program involving advanced manufacturing and campus expansion.
  • Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants at all project stages to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Perform quantity surveying, cost control, and change management activities across the full project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for reporting on the overall commercial status of projects.
  • Manage financial performance, including fee forecasts, resource planning, and margin tracking.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Advise clients on contracting and procurement strategies across various delivery models.
  • Identify and act on business development and cross-selling opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale, complex construction programs such as manufacturing, infrastructure, or major campus developments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills for client-facing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, or engineering.
  • RICS certification or equivalent professional accreditation.
  • Previous experience in construction consultancy.
